About the role#
This internship provides high school students with paid, part-time experience at a heavy equipment dealership. Students gain exposure to the industry by working within the parts, sales, and service departments during summers, school breaks, and after-school hours.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and assist technicians with equipment repairs.
- Support the parts department and showroom operations.
- Assist with building and yard maintenance, including cleaning equipment.
- Participate in company-sponsored training and departmental meetings.
- Maintain a professional image and positive working relationships with team members and customers.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to the academic policies and rules of your school.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service capabilities.
- Ability to maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
