About the role#
This internship provides high school students with paid, part-time experience at a dealership. You will gain exposure to the heavy equipment industry by working within the parts, sales, and service departments. This is a rolling program with hours available during summers, school breaks, and after class.
What you'll do#
- Shadow technicians to learn about and assist with equipment repairs.
- Help out in the parts department and showroom.
- Support building and yard maintenance tasks, including cleaning equipment.
- Follow all safety rules and company policies.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.
- Participate in company training and team meetings.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Strong organizational and computer skills.
- Good written and verbal communication abilities.
- A focus on providing excellent customer service.
- You must maintain an acceptable attendance record at your school.
- Valid work authorization for the United States is required.
