About the role#
As a Relationship Manager Intern, you will manage a portfolio of high-value small business clients. You act as an ambassador to the local business market, helping clients start, manage, and grow their enterprises. You will provide financial advice, develop new business, and work with other RBC specialists to deliver a unified client experience. Following training, you will be expected to work across various Winnipeg-area locations.
What you'll do#
- Build and deepen client relationships by providing tailored financial advice.
- Contact clients proactively to gather insights and understand their changing needs.
- Plan and prioritize market activities to identify opportunities and connect clients with the right internal partners.
- Manage risk and perform due diligence in all banking procedures.
- Advocate for RBC mobile and online applications to help clients use their preferred digital channels.
- Visit clients on-site to understand their business operations and objectives.
What you'll need#
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant banking experience, ideally in a sales-focused role.
- Strong skills in business development, client acquisition, and prospecting.
- A proven track record in managing client relationships.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Marketing.
