About the role#
As a Client Advisor Intern, you will serve as an ambassador for the branch. This role focuses on helping clients with their everyday banking needs while using your sales and problem-solving skills to improve their experience. You will collaborate with team members to help clients reach their financial goals.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients in the branch and the community to identify banking needs and sales opportunities.
- Provide advice and help clients with a full range of financial transactions.
- Educate clients on digital banking tools to improve their experience and retain business.
- Listen to client needs and take ownership of resolving or preventing banking problems.
- Maintain relationships with partners to manage referrals and business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- A passion for putting clients first and a track record of success in target-driven sales environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
- Digital literacy across devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Flexibility, strong personal ethics, and an eagerness to learn.
- Availability to work all business hours.
- Preference is given to candidates with experience in the financial or service industry.
- Preference is given to candidates with Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
