    About the role#

    This position focuses on providing advice and solving problems for clients regarding their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. As an intern, you will act as a representative of the bank, helping clients achieve their goals through direct interaction and collaboration with internal partners. You will assist with onboarding, teach clients how to use digital banking tools, and identify opportunities to connect clients with specialists.

    What you'll do#

    • Proactively engage with clients in the branch and the community to identify their banking needs.
    • Focus on client education and use technology to provide a helpful experience.
    • Respond to client requests and assist with a full range of financial transactions.
    • Listen to clients to understand their individual financial needs.
    • Resolve and prevent banking problems for clients.
    • Build and maintain relationships with internal partners to manage business opportunities and referrals.

    What you'll need#

    • Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
    • A goal-oriented mindset and a commitment to putting clients first.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships with people.
    • Digital literacy across various devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
    • Flexibility, a willingness to learn, and strong personal ethics.
    • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
