About the role#
The Global Transaction Banking Summer Analyst Program is a 16-week internship based in Toronto. This program provides broad exposure across the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) platform, including potential project work or rotations in sales, relationship management, product, risk, and strategic execution. You will gain experience through mentorship, formal training, networking, and collaboration with global teams. Successful analysts may be considered for future full-time opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Prepare client-facing and internal presentation materials.
- Conduct company, industry, market, product, and competitive research.
- Analyze client needs, transaction flows, product usage, and business opportunities.
- Assist with transaction documentation, credit requests, portfolio reviews, risk reporting, and internal approval materials.
- Participate in the GTB Summer Analyst group project, culminating in a presentation to senior leaders.
What you'll need#
- Undergraduate students with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Authorization to work in Canada.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High ethical and professional standards.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
