About the role#
This is a 4-8 month internship opportunity for the Winter 2027 term. By applying, you will be considered for multiple roles within the Technology & Operations division, specifically focusing on Quality Engineering and Automation. You will join a team that builds automated test solutions and maintains quality standards across internal systems.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development of automated test plans and solutions.
- Create, update, and execute QA testing plans.
- Automate reporting processes using Blue Prism, VBA, and SQL.
- Support the programming of testing tools for internal use.
- Maintain documentation of test results and provide status reports during testing phases.
- Support upgrades to the testing environment and apply data warehouse concepts to projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a Canadian post-secondary institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in SQL or VBA.
- Understanding of QA methods, testing approaches, and frameworks.
- Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems systematically.
- Strong communication skills and an analytical mindset.
