    About the role#

    This is a 4-month internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will join the Group Risk Management team to assist with High Risk Client Management. This role is full-time and requires you to be on-site.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct AML and TF analyses for higher risk clients to identify key risk indicators.
    • Review, triage, and assess alerts and referrals according to bank procedures.
    • Prepare accurate and organized written client risk assessments.
    • Initiate and execute due diligence to determine if an Enhanced Due Diligence review is necessary.
    • Prioritize your assessments within defined guidelines to support management decisions.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently pursuing a University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Criminal Justice.
    • Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills along with clear written and oral communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) at Level 2 or above.

    Location & details#

    • This position is based in Bedford, Nova Scotia, or Toronto, Ontario.
    • The role is a paid, full-time student placement.
