About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for a Systems Engineering Intern. You will work on-site in Melbourne, Florida. This position requires authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Join a collaborative integrated product team.
- Support the design, integration, verification, and validation of avionics CNS products.
- Participate in full product development life-cycle activities.
- Gain hands-on experience with systems architecture, requirements management, test planning, and data analysis.
- Assist in documenting engineering work to meet company and regulatory standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours before the internship starts.
- Understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- A genuine interest in the aerospace industry.
