About the role#
This internship program provides students with a thorough understanding of the Global Supply Chain and Repair organization. You will gain hands-on experience in purchasing, manufacturing, distribution, and servicing while working alongside a professional mentor. The program emphasizes skill development through training, project work, and exposure to various business functions.
What you'll do#
- Analyze operational datasets to identify trends, track performance metrics, and support data-driven decisions.
- Review and improve existing workflows to drive operational efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Maintain and update reports, trackers, and visual dashboards.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to address day-to-day operational needs.
- Execute a designated individual or team project, presenting actionable recommendations and findings to leadership.
- Develop professional skills in planning, organization, leadership, and team-based work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Industrial, Systems, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Anticipated graduation date between May 2027 and December 2029.
- Authorization to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated advanced skills in Excel such as XLookup, VLookup, Pivot Tables, and data modeling.
- Prior coursework or project experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and exposure to Product Lifecycle Management tools.
- Practical experience with time-study standards, line balancing, or factory floor flow simulation.
- Ability to translate complex quantitative data into actionable business narratives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team.
