About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site co-op position based in Jamestown, North Dakota. The role runs from Summer 2027 through Fall 2027. You will work Monday through Friday to support our stress engineering team in new product development and certification.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic structural analysis using classical methods and finite element analysis.
- Demonstrate the structural integrity of cargo handling system products.
- Help generate component applied loads and aircraft interface loads.
- Create structural analysis documentation for product certification.
- Assist with structural testing for product certification.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Actively enrolled in your degree program through the end of the co-op.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the session.
- Experience with CAD software like SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD, Autodesk, or Catia.
- Coursework in Statics and Mechanics of Materials.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis, specifically ANSYS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Outlook.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
