About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in both the field and the office. You will work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project delivery from design through construction. We are looking for students to join us for 8-month or 4-month terms starting in Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct field inspections for infrastructure construction projects.
- Liaise with contractors on client sites.
- Help ensure that schedules, budgets, quality control, and safety standards are met.
- Develop tender documents and cost estimates.
- Gain exposure to materials testing, construction management, municipal infrastructure, transportation, water resources, geotechnical, bridge, and structural engineering.
- Participate in company safety practices to ensure all teams work safely.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Diploma or Degree program in Civil Engineering.
- Excellent attention to detail, sound judgment, and clear communication skills.
- Willingness to work in varied environmental conditions, including remote areas for extended periods and varied hours.
- Ability to work in wildlife-populated areas.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or related software is an asset.
- Previous work experience in Civil Engineering or Construction is an asset.

- Compensation: $23 - $32 per hour.
