About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within a unionized manufacturing environment. You will partner with HR Business Partners to provide daily support to managers and employees, gaining hands-on experience in labor relations and human resources operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide daily HR support to managers regarding employee performance, attendance, conduct, and workplace concerns.
- Assist in the interpretation and application of collective agreements and company HR policies.
- Manage and document employee relations files.
- Participate in interactions with union representatives and shop stewards.
- Support workplace investigations by gathering information, documenting findings, and preparing summaries.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to support decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field at a Canadian university.
- Ability to work in Canada.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Bilingualism in French and English.

- Location: Longueuil, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday.
- This is a paid internship.
