About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will join the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment for the Engineering and Defense business units. This role is based in Dorval and follows a hybrid work model. You must be currently enrolled in a university program to be eligible.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the recruitment lifecycle, including needs analysis, resume screening, phone interviews, and interview scheduling.
- Manage administrative tasks such as launching background checks, tracking new hire paperwork, and sending first-day reporting instructions.
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter to source passive candidates and maintain ongoing communication with applicants.
- Update the SuccessFactors applicant tracking system and use SAP to verify employee information.
- Prepare reports, charts, and correspondence using Microsoft Office tools.
- Participate in weekly governance meetings with HR business partners and hiring managers.
- Collect external talent data and intelligence to share with business units.
- Represent the company at recruitment events, whether in-person or virtual.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program focused on Human Resources, Management, or Business.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with a preference for bilingualism in English and French.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Capacity to work between 32 and 40 hours per week.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A self-motivated and flexible approach to teamwork.
