About the role#
As a Draftperson/Integrator Intern, you will join the Engine Product Definition team, specifically the Product Definition Integration group. This team manages the Digital Mock-Up of the engine, which is a full 3D integration of CAD models representing the entire engine. You will gain exposure to the New Product Introduction process and help develop technical documentation, including major assembly drawings, installation drawings, and tables of limits required for engine certification.
What you'll do#
- Produce and revise 2D technical drawings and 3D models based on engineering concepts and specifications.
- Ensure all drawings meet internal and industry standards, such as GD&T and ASME Y14.5.
- Support design engineers and fellow draftpersons with the integration of design changes.
- Maintain drawing databases and documentation archives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, and customer service to ensure design accuracy and fabricability.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university for the duration of the internship.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Proficiency in CAD software like CATIA or SolidWorks.
- A foundational understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and tolerancing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn within a team environment.
- Functional proficiency in English to read and understand technical documentation and communicate with international colleagues.

- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday.
- This is a paid internship.
- The role requires a criminal background check and authorization for the handling of controlled goods.
