About the role#
This is a full-time Software Engineering Internship for Summer 2027. You will join the team in Rockford, Illinois, to work on electric power distribution systems. This position requires you to be a U.S. Person.
What you'll do#
- Work in a team environment to support the full life-cycle development of electric power distribution systems.
- Write and develop software using C.
- Participate in the certification of software to aerospace standards, including DO178B/C.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- You must be actively enrolled in your degree program through the completion of the internship.
- You must have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Prior internship, co-op, or work experience with RTX is preferred.
