About the role#
The Software Security Sensors and Effectors department is seeking an intern to join the team in Tucson, Arizona. You will contribute to the design, development, integration, and testing of real-time missile software. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on applying system security principles to embedded software applications.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop software applications using C and C++ on various computing platforms.
- Integrate and test real-time missile software.
- Apply system security principles to software implementation.
- Analyze real-time software design and the performance implications of specific security implementations.
- Collaborate with the Systems Security Engineering team to define and implement requirements.
- Support program capabilities within a common development environment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- Practical experience with C or C++.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance.
- The ability to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to the start date.
