About the role#
This student program offers hands-on experience for those pursuing degrees in engineering or computer science. You will work on real-world projects alongside professionals in the machinery manufacturing industry. This is a full-time position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Write embedded software, scripts, and internal utilities using C/C++, C#, Python, Qt, or Matlab/Simulink.
- Design and run unit, hardware, and on-machine tests to verify software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and manage project requirements.
- Operate equipment and build electrical harnesses.
- Log and analyze test data using project tracking systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
