About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience by applying your engineering coursework to real projects. You will collaborate with skilled professionals and participate in development events throughout your term.
What you'll do#
- Develop tests to evaluate machine functionality and performance.
- Determine necessary components, physical parameters, and monitoring methods.
- Define testing conditions including voltage, temperature, and vibration.
- Operate machines and simulators under controlled conditions.
- Record and analyze test data.
- Build or rework prototypes as designs change.
- Set up and operate structural fatigue tests.
- Conduct specifications testing on working models.
What you'll need#
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in Agricultural, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- A 3.0 GPA or higher is preferred.
- Ability to commit to the full 4-month internship term.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with drafting software like ProE, Creo, or Solid Works is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Project management skills are preferred.

This position is based on-site in Bismarck, ND, Gwinner, ND, or Johnson Creek, WI.
