About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern with the Test Solutions Engineering team, you will build Windows-based applications for high-performance aerospace products. You will work within the Hardware Discipline Center to support the full lifecycle of complex systems, from engineering labs and production environments to field operations.
What you'll do#
- Build and integrate object-oriented software applications using C# and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Identify and fix software bugs to maintain functionality and reliability.
- Partner with multidisciplinary engineering teams to create and implement technical solutions.
- Follow established software development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methods.
- Define and derive requirements for software systems and applications.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
- Experience with software development, testing, or integration using C, C++, Python, or Visual Basic.
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance.
- The ability to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued security clearance before your start date.
- Knowledge of software development principles and object-oriented design.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and troubleshoot technical problems.

- This is a full-time, on-site position located in Tucson, Arizona.
- This role requires U.S. citizenship to satisfy security clearance requirements.
