About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship program provides exposure to Raytheon Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality (OSCQ) processes. You will work within a results-based culture to support quality performance and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tucson, Arizona.
What you'll do#
- Participate in root cause analysis and develop corrective or preventative action solutions.
- Analyze and interpret data trends.
- Ensure compliance with Raytheon and contract program requirements.
- Interface with the supplier base to resolve open issues.
- Review and disposition nonconformances and nonconforming material.
- Coordinate with customers and the DCMA to ensure resolution of reported issues.
- Review major deliverables, including test results and anomaly conditions, to ensure contract compliance before delivery.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or advanced degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related STEM major).
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience or education involving Quality and Mission Assurance processes and tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to the start date.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
- A 3.0 cumulative GPA is preferred.
- Experience or education in continuous improvement processes is preferred.
