About the role#
The Operations Engineering Specialist Co-Op position offers an opportunity to work within a manufacturing project environment. You will support systems related to homeland and missile defense strategies. This role involves exposure to production engineering, hardware quality, and the integrated supply chain. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience with manufacturing processes while contributing to technical solutions.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production and improve processes.
- Immerse yourself with engineering support on the production floor.
- Complete a project to earn your CORE Apprentice certification, which focuses on Six Sigma principles.
- Review business systems and implement new techniques within production areas.
- Lead projects, conduct data analysis, and prepare reports for presentations.
- Assist with compliance initiatives and occasional video production tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or advanced degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, chemical, plastics, systems, or computer engineering, or applied mathematics.
- Active enrollment in your degree program through the end of the co-op session.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with project execution.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
- A 3.0 cumulative GPA and previous internship or co-op experience are preferred.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 through June 2027).
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
