About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in East Hartford, Connecticut. You will work on-site at our manufacturing facility. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
What you'll do#
- Gain direct exposure to the manufacturing processes of jet engines in a shop floor environment.
- Take ownership of specific process improvement projects.
- Contribute to ongoing engineering initiatives.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to solve problems.
- Apply your academic engineering knowledge to real-world scenarios.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Active enrollment in your degree program through the completion of the internship.
- Completion of at least 30 academic credits by the start date.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Prior experience through an internship, co-op, or work at RTX is preferred.
