About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to join the legal team at Pratt & Whitney Canada. You will gain exposure to the aviation industry while working on real-world legal matters. This is a full-time, paid position based in Longueuil, Quebec, running from January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Act as a full member of the legal team.
- Review legal issues alongside business personnel.
- Analyze the rights and obligations of the company within commercial contracts.
- Draft legal opinions on various legal matters.
- Collaborate with experts in intellectual property law.
- Manage various continuous improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university.
- Active pursuit of a law degree.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to work on-site in Longueuil, Quebec.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in English to handle technical documentation and international communications.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and relevant security clearances for controlled goods.
