About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Electrical Project Engineering internship for Summer 2027. You will join a multi-disciplined team at Collins Aerospace to support the development and integration of engineered systems and components. U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Project Engineering lead to drive program progress.
- Execute the engineering design process for various systems and components.
- Manage and track action items from meetings through to completion.
- Support design efforts and formal reviews.
- Coordinate testing activities with internal shop floors or external test houses.
- Communicate with team members to ensure program execution and adherence to schedules.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- Enrollment in your degree program through the end of the internship.
- At least 45 credit hours completed by the start of the internship.
- Experience gained through coursework, research, or previous employment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience using Microsoft Project.
- A history of working on cross-functional teams.
- Previous internship or work experience with RTX is a plus.
