About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern on the Test Solutions Engineering team, you will contribute to the development of electrical solutions for aerospace products. This role supports the full product lifecycle, from engineering labs to field operations. You will work within the Hardware Discipline Center to design and integrate test systems while ensuring they meet performance goals.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems.
- Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs.
- Develop engineering and production test systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during development and implementation.
- Use modern equipment like oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters for validation.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and solve test product challenges.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in a STEM field, specifically Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Familiarity with electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
- Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment like multimeters and spectrum analyzers.
- Experience with circuit design and analysis for analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Experience with technical writing and delivering formal presentations.

- Location: Tucson, Arizona.
- Work Modality: This is an on-site position.
- Security Clearance: Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (Secret) is required prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain this clearance.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
