About the role#
This Electrical Engineering Co-op position offers a practical approach to engineering, allowing you to merge theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. You will join our team in Cedar Rapids to support the design and development of digital and analog circuitry for embedded systems. This role is a full-time, on-site opportunity spanning the Summer and Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Assist senior engineers with the design, development, support, and documentation of digital and analog circuitry.
- Gain experience across the full hardware design lifecycle, including requirements capture, layout, testing, verification, integration, and factory support.
- Perform design and testing tasks for analog and digital electronics.
- Conduct component analysis and troubleshoot electronic circuitry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM major, continuing through the end of the co-op.
- Experience with digital circuit design parameters such as throughput, rise time, clock frequencies, and propagation delay.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components, including processors, memory, and interfaces, along with their timing and processing architecture characteristics.
- Ability to work on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
- Must meet U.S. Person status requirements.
