About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern at Raytheon Technologies, you will join the Test Solutions Engineering team. This role focuses on developing electrical solutions for complex systems throughout their lifecycle, from engineering labs to field operations. You will work on-site in a multidisciplinary environment to ensure our products meet technical and performance goals.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems.
- Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs.
- Develop engineering and production test systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during development and implementation.
- Use equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters for validation.
- Collaborate with team members to uncover and resolve test product challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
- Knowledge of electrical components, including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
- Experience with test and measurement equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
- Experience with circuit design and analysis for analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience in technical writing and delivering formal presentations.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
