About the role#
The Test Solutions Engineering team develops electrical solutions for complex products. As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will work on systems that support engineering labs and field operations. You will participate in the full product lifecycle and help ensure our systems meet performance goals.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and integrate test products as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs.
- Build engineering and production test systems that meet cost and schedule targets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and implementation.
- Use equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters for validation.
- Work independently or with a team to solve test product challenges.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Knowledge of electrical components like resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active and transferable U.S. government security clearance is required before your start date.
- Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government security clearance before your start date.
- Experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design and analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB for simulation and automation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with technical writing and formal presentations.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship located in Tucson, Arizona.
