About the role#
This internship involves analyzing and finding vulnerabilities in non-traditional, complex systems. You will work on understanding how systems operate, why they function as they do, and how they might fail. This position requires an aptitude for deep-dive analytical thinking across various engineering and computing disciplines.
What you'll do#
- Use static and dynamic analysis tools to support reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis.
- Examine software for both known and new vulnerabilities.
- Reverse engineer software to determine how vulnerabilities impact system operation.
- Create custom static and dynamic analysis tools for automated tasks.
- Develop tools to analyze and inject datalink messages and other communication protocols.
- Document identified vulnerabilities and their impacts in detail.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Experience with analyzing, reverse engineering, or performing vulnerability analysis on software, hardware, and communications.
- Familiarity with C, C++, or Python, and tools such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, Kali, OllyDbg, and Wireshark.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Radar systems, Machine Learning, AI, Data Fusion, weapon system design, or US Intelligence Community and DoD contracting.
