About the role#
Radiance Technologies is seeking a Modeling, Analytics, & Simulation Sciences (MASS) Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will join a team of software engineers and analysts to support projects for AFRL, NASIC, and other Department of Defense and Intelligence Community partners. This role involves working directly with existing Modeling & Simulation frameworks, specifically AFSIM, to update the codebase based on specific customer requirements.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with software engineers and analysts to build and explore technical solutions.
- Evolve existing Modeling & Simulation frameworks and codebases.
- Develop models for vehicles, sensors, and complex interactions.
- Use analytical tools to interpret test results.
- Build graphical representations to present findings to decision makers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or relevant technical degree program.
- A 3.5 GPA or higher (must be included on your resume).
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Experience with C++ and Python.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience developing physics-based or logical models.

- This is an on-site internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is part-time and paid.
