About the role#
We are seeking an intern for the Summer 2027 term to join our development team in Beavercreek, Ohio. You will work alongside software engineers and analysts to support Department of Defense and Intelligence Community projects, including work for AFRL and NASIC. This role focuses on evolving existing Modeling and Simulation frameworks, specifically AFSIM, to meet customer requirements.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and analysts.
- Develop models of vehicles, sensors, and complex interactions.
- Update and improve the AFSIM codebase.
- Use analytical tools to interpret test results.
- Create graphical representations of data to present findings to decision makers.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
- A 3.5 GPA or higher (please include this on your resume).
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience developing physics-based and logical models.
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
