About the role#
As a Corporate Lending Summer Analyst Intern, you will support the Corporate Lending team in New York. This role provides analytical and transaction support for energy transition financing. You will work alongside senior bankers, Analysts, and Associates to gain practical experience in corporate lending. This is a full-time, 10-week paid program designed to help you develop your financial analysis and communication skills through live assignments and group learning.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the evaluation and execution of corporate lending transactions.
- Perform credit analysis and provide support for ongoing deals.
- Prepare credit materials, client presentations, and internal approval documents.
- Conduct research on companies, industries, and markets to support business development.
- Build and analyze financial models to assess performance, cash flow, and creditworthiness.
- Collaborate with deal teams on live transactions, portfolio monitoring, and financing opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program with strong academic performance.
- Interest in finance, accounting, economics, or international business.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial statements and credit risks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and manage multiple assignments with attention to detail.
- Clear, professional communication skills in both writing and conversation.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Intellectual curiosity and sound judgment.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
