About the role#
The Actuarial Internship Program (AIP) at Prudential Financial offers students a chance to apply mathematical and data skills to business strategy. You will work alongside leaders in the actuarial community on projects that inform our insurance, annuity, and investment products. This program is designed to build your technical and professional skills over the course of a 10-week summer internship.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with teams on assumptions, modeling, pricing, and product development.
- Work with diverse groups on challenging projects across various actuarial areas.
- Create new insurance, annuity retirement, and investment products.
- Contribute to organizational initiatives and effect change through your project work.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- A GPA of 3.2 or higher is preferred.
- Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Preference for majors in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- Passage of one or more Society of Actuaries exams is preferred.
- You must possess the legal authorization to work in the United States, as visa sponsorship is not provided.
