About the role#
Anvil is a seed-stage startup building an SEO platform for the LLM era. As search behavior shifts toward tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity, we help brands maintain visibility and drive leads. You will work directly with our founding team, which includes alumni from Google and YC, to build foundational technology in this new category.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the founding team on projects across the entire stack.
- Build and refine frontend UX components.
- Develop backend services and integrate AI-driven features.
- Ship code quickly while maintaining high standards for quality.
- Own real product features from conception to deployment.
What you'll need#
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Java and TypeScript.
- A prior internship at a FANG company or a Series B+ startup.
- A commitment to writing high-quality, maintainable code.
- A strong work ethic and the desire to take ownership of your tasks.
- Familiarity with React and Spring Boot is preferred.
- Genuine interest in AI, LLMs, or SEO.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in New York, New York.
- The position is full-time and paid at a rate of $30 to $40 per hour.
- The term is rolling, with a typical duration from mid-June to the end of August.
- We do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
