About the role#
PGIM is hosting a 3-day externship in January 2027 to provide sophomore students with an introduction to its public and private credit businesses. This program is designed to educate participants on investment careers and offers a pathway to 2028 summer internship opportunities. Selected participants will visit the Prudential headquarters in Newark, New Jersey, from January 5-7, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training sessions and case studies to learn about credit investment strategies.
- Network with analysts, associates, and senior leaders across the firm.
- Shadow investment professionals to understand their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Complete first-round interviews for the 2028 Summer Internship Program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor's degree program with a graduation date between December 2028 and May 2029.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- An interest in exploring careers within asset management, investments, and finance.
- Requisite US employment authorization, as the firm does not provide visa sponsorship for this program.
- While all majors are welcome, relevant fields include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics.
