About the role#
This is a full-time internship for Summer 2026 based on-site in Tucson, Arizona. You will work with the Test Solutions organization to support the design and testing of aerospace products. This role requires an active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance, and you must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this clearance.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate across engineering teams to define and document test environment requirements.
- Influence how prime hardware is tested from the component level to the final assembly.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines to develop and implement subsystem models using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods.
- Communicate test equipment needs and requirements to designers.
- Manage requirements and ensure traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop subsystem requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and architecture.
- Interact with technical subject matter experts to resolve issues and support subsystem analysis.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or higher degree program in a STEM field, such as Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering, as well as Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government security clearance prior to the start date.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering standard views, including Block Definition, Context, Use Case, Sequence, and Activity diagrams.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and debugging.
