About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a System Engineer Intern to support subsystem design and integration. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in East Hartford, Connecticut. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this position as it involves access to sensitive information.
What you'll do#
- Provide support for subsystem design and integration tasks.
- Model power and thermal management systems and components throughout the product lifecycle.
- Execute trade studies to assist in defining subsystem and component requirements for module centers and suppliers.
- Develop requirement verification criteria and plans.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in a STEM field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Computer Engineering).
- Understanding of Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer.
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and MS Office.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment with high attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
