About the role#
This Systems Engineering internship provides hands-on experience with data acquisition and instrumentation for military and commercial engines. You will work on-site in Jupiter, Florida, supporting test facilities and engine validation operations. This is a full-time, paid position open to students pursuing degrees in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Manage data acquisition and recording tasks for engine testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review data before, during, and after tests.
- Set up test facilities and instrumentation measurement systems.
- Troubleshoot and calibrate devices within the lab or test facility.
- Operate data acquisition systems during validation testing.
- Communicate technical results and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Coordinate with instrumentation technicians and engineering groups to ensure testing requirements are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program for Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- Ability to work on-site in Jupiter, Florida.
