About the role#
The Walsh Group offers an internship program within our Colorado region designed to prepare participants for leadership roles. You will gain hands-on experience in project engineering and field management by working on active jobsites or within our estimating and preconstruction departments. We align your placement with your academic and career goals to support your professional development after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers or field supervision staff with project coordination.
- Estimate costs for change orders.
- Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
- Manage document control.
- Write RFIs and submittals.
- Participate in team meetings and safety management.
- Handle scheduling for various contracts and materials.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Availability to commit to a 12-week work schedule.
- Willingness to relocate for specific roles if required.

- Locations: Brighton, Aurora, Boulder, Frisco, and Colorado Springs, Colorado.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
