About the role#
We are looking for interns for our Federal Building Region in Milton, FL and Cape Canaveral, FL. This program prepares you for leadership roles on and off the jobsite. You will gain hands-on experience in project engineering and field management. We match you with positions that align with your academic and career goals to help you prepare for a career after graduation. You will work on jobsites or in the office to assist our estimating and preconstruction teams.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers or field supervision staff with project coordination.
- Estimate costs for change orders.
- Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
- Schedule various contracts and materials.
- Manage project documents, submittals, and RFIs.
- Oversee safety management.
- Participate in team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate for specific roles may be required.
