About the role#
This position is for an intern transitioning into a full-time Systems Engineer I role upon graduation. You will join our team in Cedar Rapids to work on complex aerospace systems. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this role, as you must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level U.S. government security clearance.
What you'll do#
- Design, test, and deploy software builds into real systems.
- Troubleshoot networking and system configuration, including UDP/IP and XML protocols.
- Manage and interact with systems using Linux and Python.
- Provide customer support through product demonstrations and the creation of user guides.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field, to be obtained by the start date.
- Experience with analog, digital, or mixed-signal electronics.
- Proficiency with electronic test and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
- Experience with Python or similar programming languages.
- Competency with Microsoft Office products.
