About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineer Intern or Co-op, you will work on projects that improve plant reliability and maintenance processes. You will work across different disciplines, including reliability, maintenance, and research and development engineering.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement ideas to improve plant reliability.
- Find ways to reduce maintenance costs.
- Provide daily engineering support and technical help for plant equipment repairs.
- Make sure all projects meet health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Support polyolefin customers through site visits and fabrication trials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent degree at an accredited university.
- An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
