About the role#
As a Supply Chain & Procurement Intern, you will join the team at LyondellBasell to gain hands-on experience in the chemical manufacturing industry. You will support our procurement and supply chain organizations by assisting with sourcing strategies, contract compliance, and issue resolution. This role provides exposure to areas such as strategic sourcing, logistics, order fulfillment, and pricing.
What you'll do#
- Support sourcing strategies, contract compliance, and issue resolution efforts.
- Engage in data analysis, process reviews, and problem-solving to provide recommendations to staff and management.
- Lead and participate in special projects and system improvements.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of system support tools including SAP, E-sourcing, and Business Intelligence.
- Attend training sessions across different areas of the function.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Proficiency in SAP, spreadsheet, database, graphics, and statistical forecasting tools.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
