About the role#
Dow offers full-time summer 2027 internships for students pursuing degrees in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration. This program provides hands-on experience within a global chemical manufacturing environment. You will work from our corporate headquarters in Midland, Michigan.
What you'll do#
- Assess and model material and information flows across the supply chain.
- Evaluate trade-offs between inventory levels, conversion costs, logistics, asset utilization, and customer service.
- Design and optimize supply chain infrastructure.
- Assist in strategy development for technology implementation, capital investment, and sourcing.
- Identify best practices and process improvements.
- Manage complex, cross-functional projects.
- Develop new solutions, methodologies, and service offerings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent basis. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Power BI or data analytics is a plus.
- Strong skills in accountability, emotional intelligence, detail-oriented work, teamwork, and adaptability.
