About the role#
Dow offers full-time internships for undergraduate and master's students within the Research and Development function. You will work on projects ranging from product and process research to application development. This role is paid and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Support one or two R&D projects.
- Partner with research scientists to drive projects to completion.
- Collaborate with project teams to solve chemical and material-related problems using fundamental and applied research.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- A GPA of 3.000 or higher on a 4.000 scale is preferred.
- Reliable transportation for consistent attendance.
- Potential requirement to obtain a TWIC card depending on the specific work location.

This position is based on-site at one of the following locations: Midland or Auburn, Michigan; Wilmington, Delaware; Carrollton, Kentucky; Houston or Freeport, Texas; Plaquemine, Louisiana; Collegeville, Pennsylvania; or South Charleston, West Virginia.
