About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Houston, Texas. You will work on-site to gain experience across the full spectrum of Human Resources functions. This role involves working alongside HR professionals on projects that support our operations and organizational strategy.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on projects related to compliance, recruiting, onboarding, and talent management.
- Assist with the recruiting process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Learn about the application of employment laws, including employment eligibility and confidentiality processes.
- Support the management of employee benefits, including new hire enrollments and troubleshooting issues.
- Gain exposure to payroll systems and their integration with HR processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program for Human Resources or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
- The ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks.
