    About the role#

    This is a part-time, year-round co-op position based in Midland, Michigan. You will provide administrative support to the Ethics and Employment Law group. This is a long-term role, requiring a commitment of at least one full calendar year while you are simultaneously enrolled in classes. You must be able to work on-site during regular business hours, typically between 16 and 30 hours per week.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist the Ethics and Employment Law group with employee and benefit issues.
    • Schedule meetings and manage travel arrangements.
    • Handle office tasks including filing, copying, scanning, and distributing mail.
    • Answer a multi-line phone system.
    • Proofread and edit documents.
    • Submit monthly expense reports.
    • Run errands as needed.
    • Provide backup administrative support for the team.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment at an accredited college or university located near the Midland Dow site.
    • Pursuit of an undergraduate degree in business administration, human resources, communications, or a related field.
    • Completion of at least 6 credit hours per term during Fall and Winter terms.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.000 is preferred.
    • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
    • Ability to lift 5-10 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
    • A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
