About the role#
Covestro is seeking interns for the Summer 2027 program at our North American headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will work alongside experienced professionals in areas such as Transportation and International Operations, Warehousing and Bulk Terminal Operations, Customer Service, International Trade and Compliance, and our Center of Excellence. This program lasts approximately 12 weeks and offers hands-on experience, professional development, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day business activities.
- Support operations that serve our customers across North America and the world.
- Help improve operational efficiency and the overall customer experience.
- Support the safe, reliable, and efficient movement of products.
- Respond to customer needs and manage product flow through the global marketplace.
- Potentially visit production facilities or warehouses to gain firsthand operational exposure.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, International Business, or Engineering (Industrial or Chemical preferred).
- Completion of at least your freshman year of college.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interact and build relationships with diverse individuals.
- Proactive approach to project coordination and technical problem solving.
- Completion of your sophomore year, prior internship experience, and exposure to SAP are preferred.
