About the role#
Covestro is hiring Engineering Interns to support operations at our Baytown site. You will work on a team to improve the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our production units. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day operations and maintenance needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability, safety, and profitability.
- Develop and implement solutions for production units.
- Work with teammates and managers to apply your education to real-life challenges.
- Focus on functional areas such as maintenance, electrical, production support, automation, or process safety.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Completion of at least your freshman year.
- An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
